I shoul If you have ever needed a source book on how to stylize the human form derived from anatomy this is a go-to book. On personal side notes, I found several favorites in Itaru Saito, Ivan Oviedo, Jon Diesta, Rachel Saunders, Rad Secrist, Matthew Boisemeier, and many others. They each simply show how you can push the proportions, simplify linework, and display tints and tones to enhance the overall look of their ideal male and female characters. Without an appropriate introduction and analysis of the correct human form, this book can derail an enthusiastic beginner and create some bad habits (as many depicted along the book, mainly in the inability of the artists to represent proper female breast and bellies).more My problem is, I am obsessed with anatomy and I think an artist should be a master of the human figure before stylize it. I can see this book as a great source for the beggining artist and inspiration to many others. The book presents a small introduction but no other text is included.

But alas, it's almost entirely a book of properly credited imagery. I would have loved for there to be a bit of commentary from the individual artists-even if it were minor notations or snippets of their thoughts. (I'll openly admit to some bias there in my personal judgement of bustlines.) I know this is a wide range of animation techniques we're looking at, but in my mind, braless boobs are -always- subject to the laws of physics.
